Library: a place for every Bicol piece


NAGA LIBRARY CANNOT COMPETE WITH ACADEMIC LIBRARIES...  BUT WITH BICOL MATERIALS, WE ARE AT PAR WITH THEM.

The theme of this year gatherings of Bicol librarians is timely. it also an oppportune time to collaborate in coming up with the standards in local cataloging. The RSR Library Lecture is an annual gathering aimed at promoting the use, introducing innovative services and presenting local authors. all aimed at improving our local collections - the BIKOLIANA. The seminar aimed also to make the Bicol collection as one of the priorities in setting up a Filipiniana sections in the Bicol libraries... 


 
AGAIN, AGAIN, THANKS TO THE LIBRARIANS WHO ATTENDED. There are 48 librarians, 13 students in library science together with the Director of National Library Antonio Santos and speaker historian - Dr. Danny Gerona and the group of writers who have were kind to accomodate my invitation to launched their books - Prof Marvin Sambajon's  In light of reason, Lou Nierva's  Osipon, Zaldy Manrique's  The young Bienvenido Santos  and Randy Bacares'  Dr. Jaime Hernandez, a biographical sketch.  AGAIN, see you in the 4th Raul Roco Lecture!
